Took two of the pictures from the Washington side of the Columbia River looking south. It really looked like a giant hole was forming in the clouds. As it got darker the color intensified and made for a beautiful shot. Taken with a Canon Powershot SX20 IS with 12.1 Mega Pixels. (Early Christmas present from Santa:) The third shot of the Hummingbird I thought was so cute as he was using the wire of my Christmas lights to warm-up. He found some peace and quiet for a few minutes before another 4 hummingbirds showed up and began chasing him.
