Carlotta Walls LaNier: “A Mighty Long Way: My Journey to Justice of Little Rock Central High School”
Tuesday, January 22, 7:00 p.m., Pigott Auditorium

Carlotta Walls LaNier was the youngest of the nine students who desegregated Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1957. She is the author of A Mighty Long Way: My Journey to Justice of Little Rock Central High School and is Congressional Gold Medal winner. Following her presentation, she will be available for a book signing and reception in Paccar Atrium. Sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Affairs, Office of Student Activities, International Student Center, and the SU Black Student Union.
