While today is the day marked on our calendars as the day we give thanks for all we have been given, any time I see the sunrise in all its splendor and glory, I pause to give thanks regardless of what the calendar says. This morning was no exception. Today, I am thankful for all of creation. Each beautiful thing, however minute gives me pause and makes me reflect on how incrediby blessed I am. Sunrises like this are a reminder to me that each day starts new, fresh and with a clean slate. This morning's sunrise, as seen from the Arlington Airport, was something beyond spectacular with an added appreciation because today is Thanksgiving Day.
