Every year for the last five years I have witnessed the slow return of different kinds of waterfowl to Bitter Lake with great happiness. In addition to Pied-Billed Grebe, there are Scaups, Coots, Widgeons Buffleheads and even a Cormorant on the lake. I have even been surprised to see a beautiful male Wood Duck, but only once. Nature thrives !
