Alyssa Stenchever fell in love with Cinnamon rabbits two years ago at the Washington State Convention and has been hooked ever since. Being the country's third rarest breed of rabbit recognized by the American Rabbit Breeders Association, Cinnamons hadnt been shown in Washington for years before Alyssa bought her first set. Only two short years later, Alyssa and her best bunny "Brenda Nelson's Pepsi" have been burning up the show tables in Monroe and Enumclaw. By the time Pepsi turned 8 months old, she had won a dozen Best of Breeds, two Reserve in Shows, and one Best in Show: all massive feats for such a rare breed of rabbit. So in early October, Alyssa made the decision to send Pepsi to the ARBA National Convention in Wichita, KS. 22,000 rabbits were entered that weekend, and of those 22,000, only 79 of them were cinnamons. And of those 79 rabbits, once again, Pepsi came out on top, earning 2012 National Best of Breed honors. Pepsi was the only Washington bred rabbit to achieve such honors. By November 10th, Pepsi was back home where she showed one last time. Going out with a band, Pepsi earned two more best of breeds and a third Reserve in Show, making her one of the winningest cinnamons of all time. Today, Pepsi is retired and preparing her her biggest challenge yet: motherhood. Us Washington Rabbit Breeders are proud to be so affiliated with such a remarkable rabbit!
