Maxx is a dog I foster from the Seattle Humane Society. He recently had surgery on his leg and I'm giving him a warm home to recover in until he can be adopted. We have been slowly extending our walks so he can build up the muscles in his atrophied leg and yesterday we walked a few miles! This photo is from the trail behind the Swedish Medical Center in Issaquah and it's a wonderful example of beautiful our state is, especially in the fall!
