Lindsay Stoll graduated Issaquah HS in 2010. She is attending college at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ and took these pictures Monday before the storm hit. Her campus is directly on the Hudson River across from NYC and Hoboken has been a major focus on CNN and the news due to extreme flooding. She has been without power at her apartment since Monday and no cell service. Her campus has no power so she has not been to class this week although she mentioned there is one campus building with a generator. Also, she mentioned a few pizza restaurants opened last night but the whole city is without power. I can text her but I don't get much of a response back. She played soccer at Issaquah High School and is on the soccer team at Stevens and doesn't look forward to cold showers after practice. But she said a cold shower is nothing compared to what others are going through. I grew up at the Jersey Shore in Seaside Heights, NJ, and I used to work on the boardwark at the amusement park every summer in high school and college. It's sad to see it all gone and the devastation there. It brings tears to my eyes since there are so many memories of the Seaside boardwark and beaches. If you want to contact Lindsay, her cell #is (425)753-0414. Not sure you can reach her but she would love to speak with you.
