My brother Brian Swanson proposed to the love of his life, Julie Elkins today. He has been planning to propose for about 6 months. Last evening the family got together and we carved these pumpkins, and this morning around 9AM they went to Two Bros. Pumpkin patch in carnation for their favorite tradition, picking out pumpkins. After a while the owner of the farm came over and asked if they wanted to see the baby cows. She gave them two bottles and let them feed the cows. Afterwards they walked around the the other side of the barn and there, on a table sat a row of pumpkins saying "Julie will you marry me?". The ring was in a box in the front pumpkin, and brian walked over, grabbed it and asked her to marry him. With tears in her eyes, she said yes. (Julie has the other video of the proposal, and plans to upload it so that should be sent in soon.)
