I managed to take my first on-the-fly pics with my new iPhone 5 of these gorgeous clouds over Anacortes tonight (October 1,2012) at about 6:15pm. A friend of mine (Erica B.) commented on them (thru facebook) that they are kelvin helmholtz clouds, one of her favorite, caused by wind sheers in different directions.
