These pictures were taken last year, on August 26th, at Kirkland's Juanita Park. There are turtles everywhere during the summer and by late July into August, the Water Lilies are amazing. One can also find all kinds of wildlife, including the Great Blue Herons. Kirkland's Juanita Park is not a large park, easy walking, and definitely worth a visit on a sunny day!!
