We went to Marrowstone "for the day" and found it so beautiful we couldn't leave. We spent the night on the ground (we did have sleeping bags, but no food) in Fort Flagler State Park, watched over by eagles. One eagle spent the night in the tree at my head. The forest spirits came to check on us, and stayed for a photo-op!(Can you see Jack on the left of the tree and Puck on the right?) We met these excited girls on the ferry for their first ride. It's a great park and beautiful ride, easy from Everett/Seattle/Tacoma areas.
