Requiring one tug boat at each end to safely negotiate the Ballard locks because of her immense size,the fishing vessel Excellence is shown leaving Seattle for the waters of Alaska on April 30, 2012. Now, barely two months later, the ship is temporarily sidelined, docked at Dutch Harbor, Alaska and is the subject of an investigation into an ammonia leak.
