A few years ago my family and I experienced one of the hardest Christmas season's ever. I had been laid off from a "decent" job. My children who were teenagers at that time understood that they were not going to be able to receive all that they had hoped for, but requested that we still put up a tree. With the items on hand we managed to piece together a suitable tree. We had one item left to complete our tree and that was a topper. I had searched for a suitable item, but everything that I had seen cost too much, so I put my skills and hobby to work. I created our own tree topper and this is the end result. My children are grown and have families of their own now but they too have a crochet angel tree topper that was made with love by their mother.
