Spring may have stunk, but the July 4th weekend and now the Labor Day weekend were nothing shy of spectacular in the NW. First photo: The Dollar Lake forest fire near Mt. Hood is very unfortunate, but it made for a spectacular sunset as seen from 9,400' at Mt. Adams' Lunch Counter Sun 9/24. 2: Gorgeous view of Mt. Rainier as seen from the summit of Mt. Adams. 3: A White Salmon couple and some of their hearty friends raise ice axes as bride and groom walk "up the aisle." There's no greater place to be than here in the great Pacific NW.
