Visiting in the springtime around Easter, I was happy to snap many photos of my in-laws beautiful roses in Long Beach, CA. While wet and cold in the NW we waited for spring to arrive, the flowers in southern California were in full bloom. One lovely rose inspired hope that we would finally enjoy such beauty in our own NW home garden.
