One man, One day, One hundred miles! In 8 hours and 20 minutes, on one of the hottest days of the year, with many litres of water, Gatorade, Gel shots & caffeinated power gummies later, through leg craps and into the pukes, Anacortes' Jim Zimmerman earned himself 100 miles worth o' ironman victory bragging rights from PNW's Mountains to the Sound as he led the way to 1st place ironman finisher through a grueling multisport course from near Snqualmie Pass to Log Boom Park in Kenmore with a 17 mile mountain bike, 46 mile road bike, 12 mile kayak, 13.1 mile run (half marathon) and a final 10km mile 'sprint' to the finish.
