I am 52 years old, a grandmother raising her grandchild, AND a world champion Masters high jumper representing the US at the World Masters Track and Field Meet in July in Sacramento, CA. This meet has not been in the U.S. since 1993! I have won the World Championships 2 previous times and won the Nike World Games in 1998 in Eugene, OR. I live in Tacoma where I work and have Coached track and field for some 16 years. I jump and run each year in a number of college track meets and have been the National Champion in the high jump for 14 of the last 17 years. My granddaughter is high jumping and running already at age 2.5!I am still jumping a little over 5' and on a good day, sometimes 5'2".
