These are a few photos from the Seattle Storm's 2010 WNBA Finals games versus Atlanta and the season ending Championship Celebration at Key Arena. The Storm had a historical, record-setting season ultimately capped by a second WNBA Championship. To say this was the Perfect Storm is an understatement. But all of this did not come easily, but only through 6 years of first round losses, injuries, heartache, blood, sweat and tears. This team never gave up even when down by 19 points in the 3rd quarter against a potent Phoenix team in the semi-finals. They came away unbeaten at home, unbeaten during the playoffs, and finished with 28 wins to only 6 losses in the regular season. In a very talented, competitive WNBA league this accomplishment had seemed unattainable. Seattle, you should be very proud of these women. They gave of themselves and gave back to the city something to really cheer about. Time to celebrate a real Seattle treasure - the 2010 Seattle Storm!
