My Name is Jazmine Morgan. I am for Gold Bar, Washington.I am 13 years old, and I have been crowned the 2010-11 National American Miss Washington Preteen. I am writing this for many reasons. I am going to California to compete in Nationals this November, and need sponsers. anyone who would like to sponser me can, and I figured I could get the word out easy through the news. sponsers get their name in the nationial program book that MANY people will see. I am a goal oriented 8th grader who is more or less a tomboy. I try to be a good person inside and out. I really believe that I can do anything if I put my mind to it, and I strive to be the best person I can be.
National American Miss is a pageant that teaches lifelong skills, and those skills are some that will carry girls through the rest of their lives. It is a Natural Pageant (No Makeup Allowed) and is judged on four different catagories: Community Involvement, Poise and Presentation, Public speaking, and interview. there are a total of six different catagories: Princess, Junior pre-teen, Pre-teen, Junior Teen, teen, and Miss. As a contestant, I think that this pageant is fun, and encourages girls to just be themselves. I am very honored to be able to represent this program, for it gives lots of girls the confidence and positive attitude that says yes, they can do whatever they want to in life, and there are no limits to how far you will go.
