KING 5 Weather Plus

KING 5 Weather Plus will no longer be carried as of 9:01 p.m., Dec. 31, 2008. From that time until about 11 a.m., Pacific, on Friday, Jan. 2, KING 5 programming will be carried on the channel, after which a new network, Universal Sports Network, will take over the channel.

Universal Sports is a 24-hour sports network covering more than 40 sports disciplines, including live coverage of events from around the world. It's also the only destination for Olympic sports between the Summer and Winter Games.

The channel can be reached three ways:

Over the air

If you own a digital TV set with a receiver and antenna, just tune it to channel 5.2 (KING 5-2).

On cable

You don't have to own a digital TV set to watch on cable. If you're a Comcast Digital Cable subscriber, tune to channel 115. Millennium DigitalPix Cable subscribers can watch on channel 708.

Hood Canal Communications customers can view it on channel 52 analog and channel 152 digital.
