SEATTLE -- Downtown Seattle is a giant slush bowl as snow and ice start to melt. Now icicles and falling ice are a concern.
Chunks of ice began falling from various buildings early Friday. No one was injured, but if you're in the wrong place at the wrong time, it could do some damage.
At Fourth and Blanchard streets, an entire office complex closed the sidewalk due to ice and tree branches falling on the ground. Seattle police are also closing some sidewalks because of the danger.
People walking downtown are keeping an eye low on the slushy ground and high on icy buildings above and staying prepared.
