Since the summer was hot for so long, does that mean our winter will be snowy and stay longer than normal?

No. All available evidence points to a neutral ENSO winter. That means we're not looking at an El Nino or La Nina winter. A neutral pattern doesn't favor a long, nor a short winter, but neutral winters can still have Arctic blasts.
