Isn't this the Perseid Meteor Shower weekend? Where, when should we look for them?
Yes...and the peak will occur Saturday night between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m. You may be able to see an average of one per minute during that period...if you're in a fairly dark location, away from city lights. Find a reclining chair, relax, take a warm blanket for the cool overnight hours and look up! Keep in mind the 'shower' typically continues a few days after the peak. We're in luck this weekend...the moon is waning and skies should be clear!
