Is this summers' weather going to be the new normal? How long does it take data to affect 'averages'?
I'd begin by saying what seemed 'normal' early this summer was wet and cool. Now, it's hot and dry. That's proof it's important not to draw conclusions too soon! Averages are based on thirty years' worth of data...and they're updated every ten years.
