Does the lack of sunshine here have an impact on our health?

Yes...both physically and emotionally. When sunshine is lacking, we're deprived of much needed vitamin D. Low Vitamin D levels have been linked with Cancer, obesity and possibly Multiple Sclerosis. Lower daylight levels (especially during the winter) can also cause S.A.D....seasonal affective disorder. For more information about the impact of a lack of sunlight and what you can do about it, watch "Beyond the Forecast-Biometeorology...next Tuesday, May 29th at 7:30 pm.
