Could the remnants of typhoon HAiyan loop back and impact our area?

That's unlikely. The typhoon has weakened (no longer a 'typhoon'...which by the way, is the same thing as a hurricane...just a different name in a different part of the world). It moved westward toward Vietnam, and then the remnants moved north into China. The potential for significant moisture to loop all the way across the Pacific...to the east...toward Washington...isn't non-existent...but very small.
