Holiday Heat!!!
Tonight
Lows:
50-59
Saturday: High pressure will remain off the coast through the holiday weekend bringing more sunshine to Western Washington. The lack of onshore flow and a warm air mass already in place will make for another very warm day. Highs will be in the 80s to around 90 away from large bodies of water.
Tomorrow
Highs:
78-88
What to Expect
- Nice Fourth!!
- Very Warm
- Very Dry
It will be a great day to celebrate Independence Day! Saturday is looking very similar to Friday with very warm temperatures!
Sunday Changes
We get a bonus day Sunday with more sunshine and warm temperatures. Later in the day you may notice some clouds streaming in from the south as a disturbance sneaks under the area of high pressure that has kept us warm and dry the past few days. As moisture moves up from the south, the threat for mountain thunderstorms will increase. We will have the threat for showers across all of western Washington as early as overnight Sunday into Monday.
Big Changes Monday
A broad area of lower pressure will move over the region and bring us much stronger onshore flow at the lower levels of the atmosphere. This onshore flow will mean the end to the very warm weather as cool air from the pacific invades western Washington.
Extended
The threat for shower will be with us for at least the first half of next week. Later in the week we will return to our more normal morning clouds and afternoon sun. Highs will remain cool in the upper 60s to mid 70s.
Have a safe night and a great Sunday!
