Inslee appoints Lynn Peterson as new state transportation secretary

Governor Jay Inslee has appointed Lynn Peterson, currently an advisor to Oregon's governor, as the new secretary of Washington's Department of Transportation, replacing Paula Hammond, who announced her retirement Tuesday.
