King County pays jaywalker $75,000 to settle excessive force suit

King County will pay a Seattle resident $75,000 to settle his legal claim that Deputy Matt Paul slammed him to the ground and broke his nose, just for jaywalking. Paul is the same deputy who cost taxpayers millions in another use of force case.
