Guard shot at Canadian border stable; southbound lanes to reopen

A Canadian border guard is in stable condition after she was wounded by a gunman who later killed himself. The southbound lanes at the Peace Arch crossing was estimated to reopen at 4 p.m. Drivers are rerouted to SR 543 and SR 9.
