Hmmmm: Could ship be behind West Seattle hum?

Though I didn't hear the sound myself last night (but did hear it on Tuesday), the West Seattle Blog has devoted some serious detective work to this issue. They've recorded the sound possibly coming from a cargo ship, the Silver Lake.
