Appointed King County sheriff makes pitch to voters

Many of the same problems that landed the SPD in hot water with the feds have also been exposed in the King County Sheriff's Office. Sheriff Steve Strachan says he’s already making fixes and vows “culture change” if voters elect to keep him.
