EDGEWOOD, Wash. – From the 1960s through the 1980s, many kids enjoyed playing with slot cars. Thanks to video games, the slot car phenomenon has faded.

Or has it?

There are people around the country who still love their slot cars, and they take it very seriously. Just ask those taking part in the 27th annual Flat Track World Championships in at Pacific Slot Car Raceways in Edgewood.

My Uncle Dan and Aunt Sarah were in th is video they work at the Pacific Slot Car Raceways and they are the best people in the whole world! Its no suprise to me that Cody loves going there, they love having him there! They have dedicated so much time and energy to this raceway it is great to see them get some recognition for there hard work. My Uncle Dan loves going to the shop and working on his cars and racing. I loved the video when you hear him laugh, he has the best laugh ever. WE LOVE YOU AUNT SARAH & UNCLE DAN
