It's the last weekend of summer. To help you make the most of it, Lynn Jacobson, the features editor of the Seattle Times, stopped by the studio to talk about what's going on this weekend.
1. Oktoberfest - The saddest thing about this annual festival is that with 100 beers on tap, you can't possibly sample them all. The tasting garden is open Friday-Sunday for patrons 21-plus, and all ages are invited to the kid-friendly Oktoberfest Village on Saturday and Sunday. And yes, the Texas Chainsaw Pumpkin Carving Contest is back this year!
2. Triple Door 10th Anniversary - This month, one of the city's most eclectic music and burlesque venues celebrates its 10th year in business. And the party climaxes on Friday and Saturday when headliner Aaron Neville takes the stage.
3. Burke Museum Bug Blast - From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, the UW's Burke Museum will be literally crawling with bugs. Bugs to touch, bugs to watch and even bugs to eat.
