Lynn Jacobson, features editor with The Seattle Times, came by KING 5 to talk about festive things over the holiday weekend. Here's information about events for November 23-25:
Winterfest begins at Seattle Center on Friday. A toy-train display, ice-skating and daily performances continue through Dec. 31. Friday's performance is by Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra; Saturday's is by Seattle Men's Chorus.
Bellevue Magic Season
Bellevue Magic Season also begins Friday. Nightly "snowfall,' lifesize toy soldiers, music and a light show on Bellevue Way; ice skating; and a dazzling light display at Bellevue Botanical Garden are among the draws.
Woodland Park Zoo
New this year is WildLights every evening at the Woodland Park Zoo, from Friday through Jan. 1. Light sculptures of wild animals and destinations around the world, a carousel and reindeer visits add to the fun.
