Every Friday, Lynn Jacobson, features editor with The Seattle Times, highlights a few events happening in the Seattle area over the weekend. Here are a few links to resources and information about upcoming events, January 25-27:

The Seattle Boat Show

This annual boat show takes place at two locations, Century Link Field and South Lake Union, and over two weekends, running January 25th to February 3rd. It sets sail Friday at 11 a.m. For more information, visit the Seattle Boat Show website.

Mariners Fan Fest

All the buzz right now is about basketball, but remember: spring is just around the corner. Visit Safeco for the Mariners Fan Fest to meet the Moose, taste this year’s menu offerings, and more. Tickets for adults are $10. Kids 14 and under get in free. Tickets are on sale online or at Mariners Team Stores.

Trimpin Exhibit

One of Seattle’s most idiosyncratic artists, Trimpin, has a new show at Winston Wachter, full of crazy sound-and-motion contraptions.

For more information on these and other events happening this weekend, check out The Seattle Times Entertainment section.
