The Boats Afloat show is underway at South Lake Union in Seattle. In addition to yachts and cabin crusiers, sailboat rides and lessons for the kids, a new water sport called Flyboarding is being featured.

"Flyboard really is a PWC accessory that attaches to any Jetski or any Seadoo and you can go out there and become and Iron Man superhero," said Daniel Kaufman, Flyboard instructor.

So how does it work?

"It takes the propulsion from the Jetski and it pushes it behind the Jetski and out the front through a hose which is attached to your boots and it allows you to use your balance and your body coordination to actually fly up in the air" said Kaufman.

Flyboarding is being demonstrated at the Boats Afloat Show this week and vistors will have the opportunity to try it.
