Wednesday night's presdential debate was the most-tweeted political event in U.S. history.
From 6:00-7:30 p.m. PDT, 10.3 million tweets went out over social network.
Along with the candidates themselves, Kitchen Aid and Big Bird drew attention, the former for a mistakenly published tweet, the latter for Romney's threat to end PBS funding.
During the debate, Mitt Romney had 11% more Facebook mentions, but overall Obama was mentioned 500,000 more times over the course of Wednesday.
