Vehicle fire on I-5

A vehicle caught fire in the HOV lane of northbound I-5 at 164th Street SW near Lynnwood Tuesday afternoon.

some were writing thinking it was insurance fraud, NO... it was an older vehicle, looked like a ford. We were in that area and saw the vehicle and if he did owe anything it was pennies.... Felt sorry for the person who when through this. Just hope they got out safely and unhurt.

There is always the possibility that someone changed their own fuel injectors and put the old rings back on instead of purchasing new ones. That can have disastrous results. And in this economy some folks probably have to do a lot of things on their own that they would normally go to a mechanic for.

insurance fraud bet if they check the engine they find gas on it or some type of material. flames to big for a transmission fire. burned to fast.
