When the Evergreen Pool in White Center closed last September, one swim team already had a plan to save it. The Whitewater Aquatic Club cut a deal with King County and went to work, raising more than $50,000. Saturday was the grand "reopening day."
A nonprofit management team will run the pool now, working with the school district and the county.
