SEATTLE - Another round of rough weather is headed for Western Washington, and it comes as many are still struggling to clean up from the last storm.

Seattle resident Jerry Wang says the sound of a massive tree falling on top of his home was unforgettable, but the sight was equally as shocking.

"There are some branches poking through the roof - all the way inside.  So it was messy," he said.

The tree was so massive, crews had to cut it up. Wang spent the day calling the power and insurance companies, but he is certainly not alone in trying to clean up storm damage before this next round of weather hits.

Western Washington is reaching a critical mass with saturation. You see it in flooded streets and swollen rivers, like the north Stillaquamish River in Snohomish County.

With heavy rain, high winds, and even snow in the forecast, it means people need to prepare for it now. That means raking leaves and clearing gutters, so that all the water will have someplace to go.

Actually cvn65 I do. I'm glad it's just rain and wind and not snow in the local areas as well. People already don't know how to drive in rain, and they sure as heck don't know how to drive in snow. So, bring on the rain and wind. True washingtonians don't mind it, plus it brings us entertainment in watching all the people from california trying to handle it.
