Sailor on USS Nimitz flies to Seattle to meet 3-month-old daughter

The crisis in Syria has extended deployments and concern for military families, including a Silverdale man stationed on the U.S.S. Nimitz. The nuclear-powered aircraft carrier is in position near the Red Sea, ready to support a U.S. strike against Syria, if needed.

Michael Cafeo flew from Bahrain to Sea-Tac Airport to meet his 3-month-old daughter for the first time. It was a much needed break from what's been a tense week for those on the U.S.S. Nimitz.
