SHORELINE, Wash. – Two rival high schools that went viral on the Internet with dueling lip-dub videos produced by students have joined forces on a new production.

Students at Shorecrest and Shorewood high schools in Shoreline have produced a new video medley with songs from the 1940's to the present. The video features more than 1,200 people.

Shorecrest video production teacher Trent Mitchell says Shorewood assisted them on the 1960's section and other portions of the video. Students from Briarcrest Elementary and Kellogg Middle schools helped, too.

Some sections of the video were shot at high speed and then slowed down to give a slow motion effect.

This all started last year when Shorecrest produced a video of students running around the halls, lip-syncing Outkast's "Hey Ya!" Shorewood fired back by doing a dub of Hall and Oates' "You Make My Dreams Come True," except they shot it moving backwards.
