Dr. Lee Hood, co-founder and president of Seattle’s Institute for Systems Biology, received the National Medal of Science last Friday. It’s the highest honor the president can bestow upon scientists.

Many people in the industry call Dr. Hood the Father of Biotech. He sat down to talk about the honor on KING 5 Morning News.
