School shootings: Talking with kids about grief

Following last week's deadly shooting at SPU, and Tuesday's deadly shooting at in Oregon high school brings, there have now been 74 school shootings since the Sandy Hook massacre in December 2012.

A generation of students have grown up in a society where school shootings are not unheard of. Now, parents are faced with the difficulty of talking to your kids about situations like these.

Jen McCormick, the Clinical Supervisor at The Healing Center, shares some tips for talking with children and teens about grief.
