The donut is a very simple little food.
"It is a delicious little treat that everybody loves," said Mighty-O Donuts general manager Brandon Gillespie. "Everybody loves a donut."
Somebody loves Mighty-O all right - Bon Appetit Magazine just named them one of the ten best donut shops in the country.
Gillespie says they're very proud of the recognition, but he says the Mighty-O crew is passionate about serving the community. The company is very socially conscious. They donated more than $4,000 in donuts to non-profits and educational causes just last month.
They also do tours. And one more thing: they're organic and vegan.
"Our donuts are as healthy as a donut can be!" said Gillespie. "But it stands for so much more and that's why everybody here works hard and that's why we're so passionate about what we do and that's why we were so happy to get mentioned in Bon Appetit."
