Calling all bike enthusiasts: The latest and greatest in biking gear and trends will be on display at the Seattle Bike Expo this weekend.

The show will feature hundreds of vendor booths, Olympic medalists, bike fashion shows, a kids bike zone and so much more. One of the hottest attractions will be the Artistic Cyclists from Germany. Artistic Cycling is a combination of Olympic caliber gymnastics and acrobatics, all on a moving bicycle.

"Artistic Cycling is a sport of competition in Europe - about 10,000 athletes in Germany alone participate in this sport. These athletes train about twenty hours a week and then they participate head-to-head in contests.  It's kind of ballet meets gymnastics," said Peter Verbrugge, event producer for the Seattle Bike Expo.

The Seattle Bike Expo, presented by the Cascade Bicycle Club, will be held on March 12 and 13 at Magnolia Smith Cove at Cruise Terminal 91. Adult admission is $12 and children under 15 are free.
