At the University of Washington's Allen Library, the Washington State Labor Archives documents the struggle of the labor movement in the Northwest.

From the Great General Strike of the early 1900's through today -- pictures, newspaper clippings and memorabilia tell the stories that shaped the economy of the present.

Newly opened, and always expanding, the storied past of workers' struggles are cataloged. Some of the items are online, and offer a glimpse into history.

KING 5's Jim Forman gives us a look inside.
