The KING 5 Investigators have uncovered more potential recruiter misconduct. The National Guard's top commanders have now asked the FBI to investigate.

Former National Guardsman Mike Patrick contacted KING 5 in 2008 after someone forged his signature on re-enlistment papers.

In April, we showed Patrick documents we obtained through a year-long public records request. In them, Guard recruiter Sgt. Wendy Schaefer admitted to being burned out, but she didn't explain who forged Patrick's name.

She has since left the Guard and Patrick was honorably discharged.

After our story aired, another man contacted the KING 5 Investigators claiming Schaefer forged his signature on enlistment papers. He complained and his enlistment was dropped.

The Guard calls Schaefer a "rogue recruiter" and has now asked the FBI to dig deeper into these cases.
