I attended all 3 days of this convention, and I had a blast. We traveled from New Hampshire to be there, and it was the most exciting thing I've ever done. I met so many wonderful fans like myself, and the memories I have will last a lifetime. Thank you to all who made our trip enjoyable. :)

I wish everyone could realize there is no path in life it is what you choose, you choose to stay at home, don't complain, you choose to go out all the time, don't complain.... you choose your path deal with it........

Sad that people have no life and have to flock to some fictional poorly done movie series convention... not that going to a star trek convention is much better. Don't get me wrong, I love a good movie or show but really I do have better things to spend my money and time on than a convention for something fiction like this. So collegeguy, why are you complaining about what other people are doing on a Friday night at 12:30, they have a life, learn it live it love it....... thank you

This one is for "Collegeguy." I took my 8 year-old daughter to this event on Friday because she is a fan of the series. She had the opportunity to briefly meet one of the actors, get an autograph, and have a picture taken with him. It's pretty rare that a kid gets to experience something like this. The ear-to-ear smile on her face at the end of the evening was priceless and made the hours of waiting worth it. If giving my daughter an experience of a lifetime means that I have "no life," then you obviously don't know what it's like to make a child happy. Perhaps when you grow-up and mature a bit yourself, you'll realize that a parent will do and endure anything to make sure their child(ren) are happy and experience things they didn't get to growing up. As for "Impulse..." thanks for being open-minded. It's nice to see that someone on here can be mature about these kind of posts.

C'mon collegeguy why is it sad that people who are interested in the same thing are getting together to meet one another and have fun? I've never seen the movies, nor read the books, but maybe not everyone is interested in the same non-fictional pursuits that you are. Must you disparage them by telling them they have no life through a post on King5.com at 12:30 on a Friday night? Why can't you just let them enjoy their one weekend of the year, without trying to elevate yourself and the undoubtedly exalted way you spend your time? Can't you just let the Twi-hards or any other group that is passionate about something have fun without passing judgement on them?
